Paragliding Championship Begins in Konya

The Central Anatolia Region Paragliding Target Championship has started in the Karapınar district of Konya.

On the first day, 40 paragliders took off. The championship aims to promote the tourism potential of the region.

Mustafa Ulutaş, the President of the Karapınar Flight and Nature Sports Club, stated in a press release that the championship aims to promote the tourism potential of the region.

Ulutaş said, "The competition will end tomorrow. We are expecting all paragliding and nature sports enthusiasts to join us."

In the championship, two paragliders who landed on the target were successful. The motorcyclists' show at the event provided the spectators with thrilling moments.
