National athlete and Selçuk University Faculty of Sport Sciences student Hatice Güçlü won a gold medal at the World Para Athletics Grand Prix.
In the event held in Olomouc, Czech Republic, the national athletes representing Turkey achieved significant success by winning two gold medals.
Athletes competing in different categories at the event reached the top of the podium, bringing medals home to Turkey.
Hatice Güçlü, a second-year student in the Coaching Department of Selçuk University’s Faculty of Sport Sciences and a national athlete, competed in the women’s T13 category 1500-meter final as part of the World Para Athletics Grand Prix. Güçlü finished the race with a time of 4:55.62, securing first place and winning the gold medal for Turkey.
