Sinem Oruç Wins Bronze at World Judo Championships

Sinem Oruç, who competes for Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor's judo team, achieved third place at the World Cadet Judo Championships.

Oruç secured a bronze medal for our country and city by defeating her Spanish opponent, Lucia Carpio Fernandez, in the 63 kg category at the championship held in Lima, Peru.

Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay congratulated the young athlete, who has recently gained recognition in the judo world with her successes, as well as her coaches and family, and wished her continued success.

Sinem Oruç, who won the European Championship in 2022 and 2023, also earned the title of World Champion in 2022, becoming a well-known judoka on the global stage.

Sinem Oruç, competing for Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor Judo Team, has once again brought pride to Turkey and Konya with this new achievement.
