Strong Start for Konya Basketball Team

Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor started the 2025-2026 season in the Türkiye Basketball League with a win against Fenerbahçe College.

Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor took control of the game from the start at Selçuklu Municipality Sports Hall, opening a 31-17 lead in the first quarter.

Despite their opponent’s efforts in the second quarter, the yellow-and-blacks entered halftime with a 40-38 lead and extended their advantage to 58-54 by the end of the third quarter.

In the final quarter, backed by strong support from their fans, Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor secured a 77-71 victory.

The packed crowd of basketball fans gave strong support to their team, with the intense second-half battle sending excitement in the stands to its peak.

Boosted by their season-opening win, Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor will face OGM Ormanspor away in the second week of the league.
