The Athlete from Konya Among Europe’s Best

Ali Kılınç, a wrestler from Konya Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club, won the silver medal at the Georg Lurich Tournament.

Held on October 18–19 in the city of Rakvere, Estonia, the Georg Lurich Tournament brought great excitement as hundreds of athletes from various European countries competed in the event.

Competing in the U17 71 kg category, Ali Kılınç from Konya Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club drew attention with his outstanding performance against strong opponents.

In the tournament, which brought together nearly 700 athletes from 25 countries, Kılınç delivered an impressive performance, advancing to the final and finishing second to claim the silver medal.
