The Athlete from Konya to Represent Turkey in Peru

Sinem Oruç from Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor's judo team will represent Turkey at the World U21 Judo Championships, which have started in Lima, Peru.

Sinem Oruç, competing in the Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor judo team, will strive for victory at the World U21 Judo Championships. The event, taking place in Lima, Peru, features 406 judokas from 49 countries. Oruç will be competing in the 63 kg category, aiming for a medal.

Oruç, who won the European Championship in 2022 and 2023, also earned the title of World Champion in 2022, gaining international recognition. Additionally, she secured a second-place finish at the 2023 European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF). To date, the accomplished athlete has won 5 European Cup titles and 4 Turkish Championships, bringing pride to Konya.
