Astronaut Gezeravcı Communicates with Konya Students Via Radiotelephone

In Konya, middle school students experienced the excitement of communicating via radiophone with Alper Gezeravcı, Turkey's first astronaut.



Turkey's first astronaut, Alper Gezeravcı, said, "The luxury I miss the most on Earth right now is being close to my family, my parents."



Gezeravcı conducted a radiophone conversation with students interested in science and space studies from Ömer Cemile Güler Imam Hatip Middle School in Konya and Bandırma Şehit Mehmet Günenç Anatolian High School in Balıkesir, directly from the International Space Station (ISS).



Students from Ömer Cemile Güler Imam Hatip Middle School in Konya experienced the excitement of a radiophone conversation with Turkey's first astronaut, Alper Gezeravcı, directly from the International Space Station (ISS).



The students, present in the school's seminar hall, asked Gezeravcı questions during the radiophone conversation established with the ISS.



Gezeravcı answered all the questions, sharing details about his work and describing the environment aboard the ISS.
