Hacıakif Island: A Must-See Destination in Konya

The Hacıakif Island, located in Lake Beyşehir, has become a point of interest for nature enthusiasts in recent years.

Mustafa Büyükkafalı, President of the Beyşehir Culture, Tourism, and Nature Association, said, "Those who haven't seen Hacıakif Island must definitely visit. The island, surrounded by reeds and rocks along the shoreline, welcomes visitors with all its beauty, especially the water lilies."

Hacıakif Island, one of the 33 islands in the lake and the second-largest island with an area of 2,650 hectares of freshwater, is among the places visited by nature enthusiasts.

You can reach the island by taking boat tours on the lake or by using fishing boats from the İskele area in Yeşildağ, which offers a shorter distance option.

Visitors to the island can also explore and visit the cave located on it.

Mustafa Büyükkafalı, President of the Beyşehir Culture, Tourism, and Nature Association, said, "The island, adorned with oak trees and towering giant trees, has become a focal point for visitors in recent years, especially with the increasing popularity of boat tours to the island. In response to this growing interest, we have included Hacıakif Island in our annual nature walks and social activities for quite some time."
