Kocakoru Forest Nature Park, located in the Taraşçı neighborhood of Seydişehir district in Konya, aims to provide visitors with relaxation, fun and enjoyment in the midst of a wonderful landscape while enjoying the beauty of nature.
This area, which is particularly noteworthy for
its rich flora, was awarded the title of Nature Park in 1998. Due to the
region's rich flora, it is known to have vegetation called Bozkır Forest, which
is generally found on the northern slopes of the Taurus Mountains. Kocakoru
Nature Park is home to many bird species, including black pine, cedar, oak and
juniper trees, as well as many songbirds and raptors. In addition, 40 mammal
species, 38 bird species, and 21 amphibian and reptile species also live here.
The park covers an area of 330.79 hectares in the Seydişehir district and is
located 5 km away from Taraşçı town.
Three glades in Kocakoru Nature Park, called Hacı Hasan Oluğu,
Gudal and Küçük Oluk, are open to public use. These areas also have social
areas such as rain shelters, fountains, water tanks and toilets, and are used
by visitors who want to picnic on weekends. Kocakoru Nature Park is a wonderful
natural wonder visited by nature lovers and cyclists in groups. If you happen
