Konya Tropical Butterfly Garden Breaks Visitor Record

Tropical Butterfly Garden, one of the favorite places of domestic and foreign tourists in Konya, broke a visitor record by hosting 96 thousand 639 people in July and 352 thousand 88 visitors since the beginning of 2022.

Konya Tropical Butterfly Garden, which was brought to Konya by the Seljuk District Municipality, maintains its place among the favorite places to visit the city. The garden, which has managed to become the most visited place in Konya after the Mevlana Museum last year, is experiencing intense visitor traffic this year as well. The garden, which has managed to become a place frequented not only by domestic tourists but also by foreign tourists and tour operators, was visited by 96 thousand 639 people only last July.

The Tropical Butterfly Garden, which has a usage area of 7 thousand 600 square meters, has a walking area of 3 thousand 500 square meters. According to the equatorial climatic conditions, the garden, which has a temperature of 28 degrees and a humidity value of 80 percent in summer and winter, opens the doors of a different world to visitors with 20 thousand butterflies of 40 different species and around 195 plant species. Also living creatures such as king snakes, giant snails, parrots live in the garden.

Guests who come to the garden can observe the butterflies flying around their nectar plants. The Tropical Butterfly Garden can be visited between 09.00-17.00 every day of the week except Monday.
