A French family that arrived in Turkey three months ago and
embarked on a world tour with their caravans arrived in Turkey three months
ago. The French family, who traveled through many cities in the country, made
their final stop in the Karapınar district of Konya. The family camped at Meke
Lake, which is referred to as the "evil eye bead of the world" due to
its bird's-eye view. They enjoyed camping by the shores of Meke Lake, watching
the sunset and the sun's descent, and taking walks.
Stany Bovlifard, emphasizing the Turkish people's
exceptional hospitality, stated, "We will stay in Turkey for a while
longer and then move on to other countries. We were deeply saddened by the
condition of Meke Lake. The drying up of the lake is a cause for concern for humanity.
In fact, there are drought and environmental issues all around the world.
People need to take more serious measures. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful
camping experience here."
