Japan's Ambassador to Ankara Suzuky Kazuhiro, who visited Konya, said, "He visited one of the largest Japanese gardens in Turkey in Konya. Visit "Japan" in Konya."

Japan's Ambassador to Ankara Suzuky Kazuhiro, who visited Konya between 17-18 October, also visited Konya Governor Vahdettin Özkan and Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay. During the visits, views were exchanged on deepening relations between Turkey and Japan.

 Ambassador Suzuky Kazuhiro, who also visited Kyoto Japanese Park with President Uğur İbrahim Altay in Konya, said, "I visited Kyoto Japanese Park, which has an excellent view in Konya. I was amazed. It was opened in 2010 in cooperation with Konya and its sister city, Kyoto Municipality. It has the feature of having the largest area among the Japanese gardens in Turkey."

 Admiring the Japanese Park, Kazuhiro said: "I felt like I had returned to Japan when I visited this beautiful garden adorned with leaves clad in autumn colors. Please visit "Japan" in Konya."
