Nearly 300 thousand Visitors in "İvriz" in the Summer

The İvriz Rock Monument and the İvriz water spring from the late Hittite period, known as "the oldest written agricultural monument in the world" in the İvriz District of Halkapınar in Konya, hosted nearly 300 thousand visitors. More than 300 thousand local and foreign tourists visited Ivriz during the 3-month summer vacation.

It was stated that more than 70 thousand vehicles and more than 300 thousand people entered the Ivriz Memorial Site during the summer vacation. It is estimated that the number of visitors will exceed 400 thousand throughout the year.

This place is full of historical, cultural and natural beauties, İvriz natural water source, caves, fish restaurants, the world's oldest and first written agricultural monument, monasteries, church and castle ruins, natural riches and cultural heritage from the 8th century BC, that is, from the Late Hittite period. Due to these factors, İvriz attracts a lot of domestic and foreign tourists, especially from the surrounding cities.
