The French couple and their two children, who embarked on a world tour with their caravans, camped in Acıgöl, Karapınar district of Konya.
Acıgöl is among the top natural beauties visited by domestic and foreign tourists, especially during the summer months. French couple Alexandra and Thomas Heurtevent, who are visiting Turkey for the first time and are enchanted by the beauty of our country, camped in Acıgöl with their children Yanis and Axel.
Alexandra Heurtevent, who started their caravan journey from France on May 22, 2022, and traveled through many countries, mentioned that they have reached Turkey. She said, "We visited countries such as Norway, Sweden, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, and Ireland. Turkey is truly a beautiful country. The people are hospitable and helpful. We visited Istanbul, Lake İznik, Gemlik, Lake Ulubat, Cappadocia, and Lake Eğirdir. We arrived in Turkey on June 11 and will leave in the second week of August. We have created many beautiful memories in Turkey. The natural beauty of Karapınar is stunning. Acıgöl is a beautiful lake with clean and crystal-clear waters. We enjoyed swimming here. The fact that the water is salty is remarkable, and we learned that it is beneficial for health. It will be a unique memory for our children as well. Camping here was fun. When we return to France, we will recommend our friends to come here."
The French family watched the sunset and sunrise over the lake, went for walks, and took plenty of photographs.
