The French tourists camped in Konya

Two French tourists who embarked on a world tour with their camper vans equipped with solar panels camped in Konya.

Coralie Faivre and Marc Beisser, who live in France, set out on a world tour in January with their camper vans. In order to minimize their environmental impact, the two French travelers equipped their vans with solar panels, allowing them to travel the world using the energy generated.

Coralie Faivre expressed, "We saw Meke Lake online and decided to camp there. We watched the sunset and sunrise. The moonlight at night is very beautiful. It's sad to see it drying up. Hopefully, it will return to its former beauty. Turks are the most hospitable people. Nowhere else have we been welcomed as warmly as in Turkey. Turkish people are very warm and compassionate. We are sad to leave this magnificent country. We will never forget the food."
