Meke Lake, one of Konya's natural beauties, continues to attract the interest of both domestic and foreign tourists despite being dried up.
Despite its drying up, Meke Lake's unique geological structure and the natural beauty surrounding it continue to attract tourists' interest.
The muddy surface that emerged from the lake's drying provides an interesting experience for some visitors.
Tourists from Germany, the Netherlands, and Romania are flocking to the area for Meke Lake's unique scenery and tranquil atmosphere. Tourists traveling in caravans from different countries are fully enjoying the serenity.
Many tourists, including Dutch visitors Noah Visser and his wife Soppihe Visser, are camping by the lake in their caravans, experiencing unforgettable moments immersed in nature, and enjoying the stunning views of the sunrise and sunset.
Noah Visser said, "Turkey is a beautiful country. We have visited the coastal cities and now we are at Meke Lake. Even though it's dry, it is impressive to us. The silence is an added advantage. The formation and atmosphere of the lake are interesting to us. We will be in Turkey for a while longer. From here, we will go to Cappadocia."
