Turkey's Deepest Lake, Acıgöl, Experiences a Surge of Visitors

Acıgöl, located in Karapınar, has become a popular destination for nature lovers and those looking to spend time with their families, thanks to its particularly high salt content and renowned healing water.

 

Tourists visit Acıgöl to both enjoy swimming in the lake and indulge in the benefits of its believed-to-be health-promoting water, thanks to its natural beauty and healing properties. Being Turkey's deepest lake at 340 meters, it captures the attention of visitors.

Acıgöl, located along the Konya-Adana highway route, is a preferred destination for visitors due to its easily accessible location. Mehmet Yaka, the Mayor of Karapınar, stated, "We have increased the interest in Acıgöl by installing portable toilets, shower facilities, and establishing a Lavender Garden in previous periods."
