Youth and Agriculture Camp

It is expressed that the construction of the adobe houses, which are in the Youth and Agriculture Camp in Hüyük District, is about to finish.
Mehmet Çiğdem, the Mayor of Hüyük Municipality, informed us that the first Youth and Agriculture Camp of Turkey is being established in Hüyük district. The Mayor Çiğdem emphasized that with the supports of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the works started in 2019 within a project and is continuing nonstop. He also mentioned that the construction of the houses is about to finish. While drawing attention to that 25 adobe houses are being constructed within the project, Çiğdem stated that “the students, who will be sent to our district by the Ministry of Youth and Sports as groups of 200, will stay in the camp houses for a week. These students will be trained on agriculture. When they learn about how to grow a product, they will be able to do it. This student mobility for studies will definitely have positive contributions to the economy of our district.”
