17 Million Sapling Support from Konya

The support for saplings by the Konya Metropolitan Municipality continues uninterrupted with the aim of promoting development and increasing production in rural areas.

Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay stated that they have been implementing various projects to support agricultural production as the Metropolitan Municipality, and that the support will continue in 2024 as well.

In this context, this year a distribution of 75,760 grapevines, apple, cherry, blackberry, raspberry, walnut, almond, aronia, and apricot seedlings was carried out to farmers across Konya.

The Konya Metropolitan Municipality provided farmers with a total of 17 million seedlings and sapling supports between 2019 and 2024, at a cost of 54 million 538 thousand Turkish Lira.
