Certified Oat Seeds Sent to Farmers in Kulu

In order to use the lands in the best way and to increase production, the "Konya Winter Oats Project" prepared by Konya Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry was put into practice. Within the framework of the Enabling the Use of Agricultural Lands Project (TAKEP), which is being carried out as a sub-project of "Development of Crop Production" within the body of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry General Directorate of Crop Production, 29 tons of certified and domestic oat seeds were distributed to farmers in Kulu district. In 2022, Konya Provincial Directorate is implementing 75 percent ministry and 25 percent farmer contribution.
Kulu Agriculture and Forestry Manager Aykut Baran said, "We have distributed the oat seed, which is the winter seed sent from Konya to our farmers who will plant it throughout Kulu in front of our District Agriculture Directorate. We wish our farmers the best and wish them a prosperous season."
