Konya Promotes Agriculture Awareness Across the City

Various events were organized across the city by Konya Metropolitan Municipality as part of Agricultural Week and the 22nd Konya Agriculture Fair to raise awareness about agriculture and inform the public.

As part of these events, the Ayasofya Magazine Madrasa Meetings were held at Depo No:4 under the theme “Soil, Wheat, Abundance.”

During the program, the meaning of soil and production was discussed from the perspectives of history, thought, and culture through different disciplines. Shaped by the contributions of distinguished speakers in their fields, the meeting helped bring together ancient knowledge and contemporary perspectives on a common ground.

Stands set up at various locations attracted attention with their visual designs.

Agriculture-themed specially designed areas created by the Metropolitan Municipality at different points across the city also drew great interest from the people of Konya throughout the week.

Konya Metropolitan Municipality KOSKİ General Directorate also contributed to the Agricultural Week events. At the stand set up in Kültürpark, citizens were informed about “Conscious Water Use,” and pine saplings were given as gifts to visitors.

Throughout the week, information was provided on both the importance of agricultural production and the conscious use of water resources through various events.
