Konya Residents Flock to Agriculture-Themed Fair Areas

Agriculture-themed design areas created by Konya Metropolitan Municipality at various locations across the city as part of Agriculture Week and the 22nd Konya Agriculture Fair are attracting strong interest from residents.

Visiting the stand area in front of the Stone Building, Konya Metropolitan Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay stated that they aimed to enliven the 22nd Konya Agriculture Fair this year with a variety of activities they had prepared.

Noting that they are promoting geographically registered products at the stands they have set up at various locations, Mayor Altay said, “At the stands we have prepared to showcase Konya’s agricultural production and strength, we explain the city’s agricultural output. At our stand in Kültürpark, we provide information about water, an essential element of agriculture, and raise awareness about water conservation. In addition, our Youth Assembly and Capsule Technology Platform host various activities focused on agricultural technology and strengthening the connection between young people and agriculture. Through panels, talks, and our stands, we strive to introduce visitors to Konya, Konya’s agriculture, and the country’s agricultural sector.”
