Konya Women Farmers Gather for International Day of Rural Women

Women farmers from across Konya marked the "International Day of Rural Women" by taking part in events hosted by the Konya Metropolitan Municipality.

At the event organized to highlight the role of women in rural development and to provide moral support to female producers, women farmers from 31 districts came together with Ercan Uslu, Secretary General of the Metropolitan Municipality.

Extending his congratulations to all women farmers on the International Day of Rural Women, Uslu emphasized that the efforts of female producers add significant value to agriculture in Konya.

As part of the program, the women farmers enjoyed a visit to the Tropical Butterfly Garden and expressed their gratitude to Konya Metropolitan Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay for hosting them in Konya and making them feel remembered on this meaningful day.
