Konya Breaks its All-Time Highest Export Record

The industry in Konya reached its highest annual export figure in its history, totaling $3.305 billion in the year 2023.

Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay of Konya Metropolitan Municipality congratulated the industrialists in Konya who achieved the highest annual export figure in history, reaching $3.305 billion.

Expressing that Konya continues to shine as Turkey's rising star in every field, Mayor Altay stated, “This historic success demonstrates once again how high Konya's economic potential is. I sincerely congratulate all Konya businesspeople, companies, and workers who have contributed, especially our industrious individuals who achieved a 1.36% increase in exports in 2023 through intense effort. This success represents not only a trade volume but also embodies determination, hard work, and quality. With this significant achievement, Konya will make a name for itself nationwide and further solidify its strength in the economy.”

Mayor Altay emphasized that as the Konya Metropolitan Municipality, they will continue to support economic development in every aspect of the city.
