My personal view of the event

Turkey's largest and most modern Animal Rehabilitation Center is in Konya. Turkey's most modern Animal Hospital is in Konya. The first animal ambulance CANBULAN in Turkey is in Konya. Paid adoption Volunteer Animal Friends is the first and only in Konya.

In the last five years, 37,273 vaccinations, 17,433 sterilizations and 12,422 treatments have been performed at the Animal Hospital. It includes surgery, obstetrics, internal medicine, intensive care and even dental clinics.

There are 5 CANBULANs in Konya, especially to transport animals injured in traffic accidents to the hospital. We should all remember the work of the Canbulans in the recent forest fires. The Konya team aslo travels from village to village and treats the animals. Konya is the one who re-homes the animals, pays 350 TL per animal and carries out the maintenance checks. 6,853 animals were re-homed in this way. Konya is the one who feeds the animals 75 tons of food per month. Konya is the one who spent 46 million 600 thousand liras for street animals in 2022. Konya is an example for Turkey on the issues I briefly mentioned above. It will continue to be an example, too.

Animal love is a requirement of faith. Human love is also a requirement of faith. When it comes to Konya, I follow with amazement the scribbles written and drawn by those who drool to undermine an exemplary work. Those who try to defame the city and a great service are louder. The silent majority applauds, but silently!

As someone who tries to show mercy to every living thing as a philosophy of life, I say “Those who make mistakes should receive the harshest punishment. I do not accept what happened. The best example in animal rehabilitation is Konya and it will continue to be so.”
