Konya, which has an ancient civilization structure, has been a garden for colourful civilizations, a peaceful corner and a safe harbour during the history of humanity for centuries. 
Konya is a city that attracts people with its earnest, entrepreneur, and innovator character. The city hugs the new civilizations without fighting against the olds in every era of the history.
Up to now our city hasn’t got any media in English which would enable to share this city’s troubles, messages, hopes and history with the rest of the world. Indeed, Konya has always been connected to the modern world with its agriculture, industry, economy and tourism and shared its production, labour and great efforts. In this context, THE KONYA NEWS is the first.
Its duty and burden is huge with its responsibilities. 
Its duty is to transfer the age-long story, the pains, the hopes, the joys and the efforts, the notes, the rhythms and the songs of an ancient city to its new readers.
We wish that we would be able to carry this burden and we can reach you in a unique way.
