Konya City Hospital Upgrades Pediatric Heart Care Unit

The Konya City Hospital, equipped with a pediatric cardiovascular surgery intensive care unit with 10 beds, is one of the rare centers with the technical infrastructure to intervene in all types of heart diseases.

The Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery Intensive Care Unit (Pediatric CVICU) of Konya City Hospital, which serves as a gateway to healing for infants with urgent cardiac intervention needs from all over the country, has been renovated.

Emphasizing that the 10-bed Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery Intensive Care Unit established at Konya City Hospital has the technical infrastructure to intervene in all types of heart diseases, the Provincial Health Director, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Koç, stated, "Hundreds of babies transferred to our hospital through 112 from various cities of our country and our province have found healing in this center," highlighting that the unit is one of the rare centers in our country.
