Due to the decrease in water level in the Altınapa Dam in Konya caused by the drought, the 822-year-old Seljuk-era Altınapa Inn has emerged.

As a consequence of the severe drought, the water level in Konya's Altınapa Dam has significantly dropped, revealing the 822-year-old Seljuk-era Altınapa Inn that had been submerged for centuries.

The Altınapa Dam, located 17 km from the city center of Konya, supplies the region's drinking water needs.
