The Ismail Aga Madrasa, also known as the Taş Madrasa, is a historical building located in Beyşehir, Konya.
Located in the historical İçerişehir Mahallesi, the madrasa has a rich history. While some sources claim it was originally built by Seyfettin Süleyman Halil Bey, others point to renovations commissioned in 1369 by the Great Emir Ismail Aga. Regardless of its origin, the madrasa serves as a testament to the architectural achievements of its era.
Located just to the west of Eşrefoğlu Mosque and known as Taş Madrasa among the people, this madrasa was in a dilapidated state until recently, but it was partially renovated by the General Directorate of Foundations and saved from destruction, but its parts other than the portal and tomb have lost their originality.
Ismail Aga himself is entombed in a nearby structure known as the Tomb of the Süt Dede. The medrese's proximity to the Eşrefoğlu Mosque further underscores its place within Beyşehir's historical and cultural landscape.
