Gevale Castle Unveils Konya's Tourism Potential

Selçuklu Municipality continues its work on historical and cultural assets. Selçuklu Municipality, which is carrying out its work in Gevale Castle, which hosted many civilizations, is continuing its 3rd stage works rapidly.

The third stage of the ongoing work at Gevale Castle, located at the summit of Konya and where history is gradually emerging, is progressing rapidly. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Selçuklu Municipality, and Necmettin Erbakan University are demonstrating an exemplary collaboration to contribute this historical structure to Konya's tourism.

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Selçuklu Municipality, Konya Museums General Directorate, and Necmettin Erbakan University, collaborating as stakeholders, will soon add another significant tourism destination to Konya with this historic project.

Selçuklu Mayor Ahmet Pekyatırmacı stated, "Every part of Gevale Castle offers a journey through time in history. When the work is completed, Konya will gain another significant tourism dynamism."
