Japanese Tourists Impressed by Sultan Selim Mosque

Konya continues to attract the attention of tourists with its historical buildings and mosques.

Guided tours at Sultan Selim Mosque and Şemsi Tebrizi Mosque, which are among the most visited places by both local and foreign tourists, are still ongoing.

Japanese tourists visiting Sultan Selim Mosque received information about Konya's history and Sultan Selim Mosque from the mosque guide Hüseyin Kara. They were also presented with books in their own language explaining Islam and translations of the Quran, which were printed by our Directorate of Religious Affairs. Tourists expressed their admiration for Sultan Selim Mosque.
