The Konya Metropolitan Municipality is continuing its efforts to preserve historical heritage throughout the city and pass it on to future generations. Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay expressed that they are making significant efforts to uncover and revitalize all cultural assets in Konya.

Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay stated, "We are conducting various efforts to preserve and revitalize our cultural heritage. Within this framework, restoration work at the Kadınhanı Raziye Sultan Caravanserai, which we started in April, is ongoing."

Mayor Altay, emphasizing their commitment to revitalizing Konya and its districts through the "Konya Model" of municipal governance, stated, "We are conducting various efforts to preserve and restore our cultural heritage. In this context, our work at the Kadınhanı Raziye Sultan Caravanserai, which we began in April, is ongoing. This masterpiece, built in the 13th century by Raziye Sultan, the wife of Seljuk Sultan I. İzzettin Keykavus, is one of our winter caravanserais on the Silk Road. Once our restoration is complete, we will make this valuable heritage available for the use of our youth."
