Konya Şerafeddin Mosque is a historical mosque located in the center of Konya, Turkey. It was built in the 12th century by Sheikh Şerafeddin. It was restored in 1444 by Karamanoğlu II. İbrahim Bey, and later it was demolished and rebuilt in 1636 by Mehmed Çavuşoğlu Memi Bey.
The mosque is built of cut stone. The mosque, which has a square plan, is covered with a large dome. There are second-floor galleries on all sides except the south. The interior walls of the mosque are decorated with inscriptions and ornaments. The marble-worked pulpit and mihrab are a remarkable work of art. It has a single-tiered minaret that was added later.
The mosque reflects the characteristics of Seljuk and Ottoman architecture. It is one of Konya's important historical and touristic places.
The Sheikh Şerafeddin Mausoleum, located on the south façade of the mosque and demolished in the early 20th century, was rebuilt in 2010 by the Regional Directorate of Foundations.
Şerafeddin Mosque is one of the most important religious and cultural structures in Konya. It is visited by thousands of people every year.
