Konya Conservation Board archives, the historical Nurse Dormitory Building,
constructed in 1915, was registered as a historical building in 2009 under the
decision numbered 3263 by the Konya Regional Board for the Protection of
Cultural Heritage. The Seljuk Municipality is currently restoring the
historical Nurse Dormitory Building, ensuring that it adheres to its original
design and features.
Seljuk Municipality's Mayor, Ahmet Pekyatırmacı, emphasizes
their significant sensitivity to preserving all historical treasures inherited
from the past. He stated, "As a nation, we make every effort to carry the
inspiration we receive from our historical ties to future generations, and this
effort is one of our important missions as an institution. We are restoring the
Old Nurse Building, which was registered as a historical building in 2009 by
the Konya Regional Board for the Protection of Cultural Heritage, while
preserving its historical texture. When our work in this structure, which has
been a historical heritage since 1915, is completed, it will serve as a
Traditional Complementary Medicine Practice, Obesity Center, and Smoking
Cessation Center. We will complete our restoration work in accordance with the
original design without causing any harm to its historical texture by November
of this year."
