Warehouse No: 4 to Make a Significant Contribution to the Cultural Heritage of Konya

The Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, conducted inspections at the Old Tekel Building Warehouse No: 4, where restoration work is being carried out by the Konya Metropolitan Municipality.

Minister Ersoy received information about the work being carried out at Warehouse No: 4 of the Old Tekel Building, which has been contributed to the city's cultural and tourism life within the scope of the Konya Metropolitan Municipality's Darü'l-Mülk Project.

Minister Ersoy noted the following regarding the matter:

"We visited the Old Tekel Building - Warehouse No: 4, which has successfully completed its restoration, carrying the traces of the past into the present with modern lines, within the scope of the Darü'l Mulk Project. I believe that this work will make significant contributions to the cultural accumulation of Konya, the 'City that Establishes Civilization,' by bringing forth new values detached from the past. I extend my gratitude to everyone, especially to the Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality, Mr. Uğur İbrahim Altay, who played a key role in acquiring this distinguished structure for our city."

Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay also expressed gratitude to Minister Ersoy for his visits and the support provided for every project in Konya.
