Mevlana Candy, one of Konya's most famous regional delicacies, continues to win the hearts of consumers both domestically and internationally. Mevlana Candy produced in Konya is exported to many countries around the world, including Europe.



Mevlana Candy has been produced in Konya since the 1950s. Also known as Cheese Candy, this candy is now known as Mevlana Candy. Mevlana Candy is made from 94% sugar, 5% citric acid, and water. The sugar is boiled in special copper cauldrons and then cut into various shapes after cooling.



There are approximately 500 Mevlana Candy producers in Konya. These producers produce approximately 10,000 tons of Mevlana Candy annually. Mevlana Candy is one of Konya's most important economic sectors.

Germany, France, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada are among the most important export markets for Mevlana Candy.



Konya Sugar Factory is working to further expand Mevlana Candy in the overseas market. In this context, export incentives and promotional activities have been accelerated to open Mevlana Candy to new markets.
