22nd International Konya Mystic Music Festival Begins

The 22nd International Konya Mystic Music Festival, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in collaboration with Konya Metropolitan Municipality as part of the Türkiye Culture Route Festival, began with a magnificent opening.

At the opening event held in Mevlana Square, 99 ney players performed a spiritual recital with the ney, one of the most significant instruments of the Mevlevi tradition, creating a mystical atmosphere for the audience.

Afterward, 99 whirling dervishes performed the Sema ritual accompanied by hymns, offering the audience an unforgettable spiritual experience. Hundreds of residents of Konya, along with art enthusiasts from other cities, followed the program with great interest.

Throughout the 22nd International Mystic Music Festival, which will continue until September 30, artists from different parts of the world will meet the people of Konya through their concerts.
