A Night of Zeki Müren Songs in Selçuklu

The Selcuklu Municipality Art Academy Music Ensemble gave art lovers an unforgettable and meaningful evening with the concert “Zeki Müren Songs” held at the Selcuklu Congress Center.

The Selcuklu Municipality Art Academy continues to bring young talents to the stage and guide them in the world of art.

The works of Zeki Müren, the unforgettable name of Turkish classical music, were brought back to life through the interpretations of the Selçuklu Municipality Art Academy choir. In this meaningful concert held at the Selçuklu Congress Center, memorable songs such as “Gözlerin Doğuyor Gecelerime,” “Dilek Çeşmesi,” and “Unut Sevme Beni” were performed.

Thousands of fans of Zeki Müren, known as the “Sun of Art,” showed great interest in the concert. Conducted by Choir Director Nuran Ayaz, the evening was filled with nostalgia, emotion, and enthusiasm, with music lovers joining in to sing along. At the end of the night, both the soloists and the choir received prolonged applause from the audience.

The Art Academy concert series will continue with the “Ferdi Tayfur Songs” concert, scheduled for Sunday evening, June 22, 2025, at 8:30 PM. The series will conclude with the “Barış Manço Songs 2” concert by the Youth Choir, which will take place on Monday evening, June 23, 2025, at 8:30 PM
