Konya Organizes Turkey's First Music Hackathon

University students competed in Turkey's first award-winning Music Hackathon, organized for the third time this year by Konya Metropolitan Municipality’s Youth Culture Card.

The third annual Music Hackathon, organized to inspire young talent in Turkey, brought together music enthusiasts at the Konya Metropolitan Municipality Atmosfer Bosna Youth Center.

The event provided participants with a unique 42-hour experience to showcase their talents, with dedicated spaces allocated for each competitor.

In this event, each group worked on writing their own lyrics and creating their music in private rooms. Additionally, groups were given an hour each in a designated studio to rehearse live performances.

At the end of the Music Hackathon, which is the first of its kind in Turkey, the awards were presented to the winners. The Best Lyrics Award went to the group "Mofongolar," the Best Composition Award was given to "Karanfil," and the Best Group Performance Award was awarded to "Kadavra." The Jury Special Arrangement Award was shared between the groups "Ludovico" and "Dementia Band."
