Selçuklu Art Academy Commemorates Legendary Turkish Pop Singer Kayahan with Emotional Concert

The “Kayahan Songs Concert,” organized for the first time by the Selçuklu Municipality Art Academy Music Ensemble, offered music lovers an emotional and unforgettable evening.

Operating under Selçuklu Municipality, the Selçuklu Art Academy continues to contribute to the city’s cultural and artistic life in the new year, as it did last year, through the concerts, theatre performances, and art events it organizes.

Within this scope, Kayahan—one of the beloved figures of the Turkish art world who left a lasting mark on millions with his iconic compositions in Turkish pop music—was commemorated with a special concert.

Held at the Selçuklu Congress Center Anadolu Stage and drawing strong interest from art lovers, the concert featured the Selçuklu Municipality Art Academy Adult Choir performing Kayahan’s unforgettable songs.

Throughout the program, songs from different periods of the artist’s career were performed, and the audience experienced emotional moments at times. The choir’s performance received enthusiastic applause from the audience.
