Selçuklu Hosts Music Event

The Selçuklu Art Academy Children's Choir brought art lovers together with a special concert featuring unforgettable songs by Barış Manço.

Following concerts dedicated to Zeki Müren and Ferdi Tayfur, the Selçuklu Municipality Art Academy once again gathered art lovers with a Barış Manço concert.

The Academy Children's Choir presented the unforgettable works of legendary Turkish music icon Barış Manço in a special concert for art lovers. The young performers passionately sang Barış Manço’s memorable songs, creating nostalgic moments for the audience. Held at the Selçuklu Congress Center, this special evening, remembered for the children's powerful interpretations and stage performances, received great enthusiasm from art lovers.

The evening, filled with emotional moments through timeless works like Barış Manço’s “Sarı Çizmeli Mehmet Ağa,” “Halil İbrahim Sofrası,” and “Bugün Bayram,” saw the audience enthusiastically singing along to the songs. The children performing on stage at the event, carefully prepared by the Selçuklu Municipality Art Academy, were rewarded with applause for months of hard work. At the concert’s finale, the audience joined in as all the children sang “Kara Sevda” together.
