Mevlana Museum Hosts Turkish Officials

The Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmuş, visited the Mevlana Museum and prayed at the tomb of Hazrat Mevlana.

During the visit, accompanied by the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, Kurtulmuş prayed at the tomb of Hazrat Mevlana and conversed with the visitors in the museum. Kurtulmuş also visited the Tomb of Shams of Tabriz.

Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, who came to Konya to attend the 751st Anniversary of Hazreti Mevlana's Reunion International Commemoration Ceremonies, visited the "Telamiz-i Konevi-4" calligraphy exhibition.

Minister Ersoy, who examined the works one by one, thanked the artists involved in the exhibition and Meram Mayor Mustafa Kavuş for his support of the organization.

The exhibition, featuring 115 works by calligrapher Hüseyin Öksüz and his 71 students, will be open to visitors at the Meram Municipality Tantavi Culture and Art Center until December 29.
