Selçuk University basketball teams win first place

The Selçuk University men's and women's basketball teams won first place in the Basketball Regional League Konya Group Competitions organized by the Turkish University Sports Federation.

The Basketball Regional League Konya Group Competitions, organized by the Turkish University Sports Federation, were held at Selçuk University and Konya Technical University. The competitions, which involved 9 different university teams, were divided into 2 groups, A and B.

In the Men's A Group, Selçuk University finished first, Necmettin Erbakan University finished second, and KTO Karatay University finished third. In the Women's Group, Selçuk University finished first, Erciyes University finished second, and Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University finished third.

At a ceremony attended by Mustafa Gelen, the Konya representative of the Turkish University Sports Federation, Bilal Yavaş, the director of the Konya Youth and Sports Services, academic and administrative staff, and students, Konya Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Çelik presented trophies to the first-place teams.
