The Isauria Road Route Guide Has Been Published

The route guide for the Isauria Road, brought to the region's tourism by the Konya Metropolitan Municipality, has been published.

Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay stated that they have undertaken significant efforts to preserve and promote the natural and cultural riches of Konya for tourism purposes.

The route guide for the 102-kilometer-long Zengibar Road, which was completed by the Konya Metropolitan Municipality through scientific reports, exploration, route recording, direction signs, and regulatory works, has been made available to nature enthusiasts in November 2023. This will provide great convenience for nature lovers during their visits.

The Zengibar Road, starting from the Bozkır district of Konya and passing through the neighborhoods and plateaus of Hadim and Taşkent, concludes in Bolay Plateau. Along the route of the Zengibar Road, there are valleys, canyons, dams, ancient roads, plateaus, passes, ancient cities, cisterns, historical bridges, forests, caves, endemic plants, and vineyards.

The Zengibar Hiking Trail, which boasts a route filled with historical traces and pleasure, takes its name from Zengibar Castle in the ancient city of Isauria, considered one of the largest cities of ancient Rome, dating back to before the Common Era (BC).
