Türkiye’s first and only Plant Health Clinic, established within Konya Food and Agriculture University, stands out as a specialized center focusing on plant diseases, crop productivity, and sustainable agricultural practices.
The clinic provides scientific support throughout the agricultural production process, from seed development to harvest. Its work includes diagnosing plant diseases, improving production efficiency, conducting tissue culture studies, and carrying out research on challenges affecting both irrigated and dry farming systems.
By combining laboratory analysis with field-based studies, the clinic aims to help producers identify agricultural problems at an early stage and apply more effective treatment and prevention methods. The center also focuses on reducing long-term disease risks in greenhouses and open-field production areas while supporting safer and healthier food production.
As one of the few facilities in Türkiye dedicated specifically to plant health research and agricultural diagnostics, the clinic is expected to contribute to regional agriculture through scientific studies, disease monitoring, and sustainable farming solutions.
