4th Historical Bedesten Days Draw Large Crowds

The “4th Historical Bedesten Shopping Days,” organized by Konya Metropolitan Municipality, was completed this year with great interest.

Uğur İbrahim Altay, Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality, stated that the Bedesten Shopping Days, organized for the fourth time to preserve Konya’s cultural heritage, support local tradespeople, and contribute to the city’s commercial life, were held this year with great enthusiasm and participation.

Mayor Altay commented, “Traditional trades that have come to life again in the streets of the Historical Bedesten, along with many activities, met with participants. We hope that our event will continue on an even larger scale in the coming years. I sincerely thank all our visitors who took part in the activities, especially the tradespeople who helped create this wonderful atmosphere.”

Citizens who attended the Historical Bedesten Shopping Days also expressed their satisfaction with the event and thanked Konya Metropolitan Municipality.
