A Positive Start for Konya's Export in 2023

Konya Chamber of Commerce President Selçuk Öztürk evaluated the January export figures announced and said, "We will continue to work in collaboration with our traders, industrialists, and exporters to reach our 2023 goals, which we attach great importance to." The Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) announced the January 2023 export figures. In January, Turkey's exports increased by 10.4% to 19.4 billion dollars compared to the same period last year. During the same period, Konya's exports increased by 16.1% to 250 million 621 thousand 624 dollars.

Konya Chamber of Commerce President Selçuk Öztürk stated that Konya started 2023 with an increase in exports. Öztürk said, "In January, Turkey's exports increased by 10.4%, while Konya's increased by 16.1% to 250.6 million dollars. Based on this figure, Konya ranked 11th in the country, taking 1.48% of Turkey's exports. Konya increased its exports by 8.9% in 2022 and reached 3.26 billion dollars. Starting 2023 with an increase in exports is important. We will continue to work with our traders, industrialists, and exporters in order to achieve higher exports in 2023."
