The Turkish Exporters Assembly Releases March Export Data

The Turkish Exporters Assembly has released the export data for March. Konya's exports in March increased by 0.1 percent, reaching $309,746,000.

In March, Konya accounted for 1.56 percent of Turkey's total exports.

Konya increased its exports by 6.6 percent in the first quarter of the year, reaching $851,307,000.

Selçuk Öztürk, President of the Konya Chamber of Commerce, commented on the export figures, stating, "While Turkey's exports contracted by 4.1 percent in March, there was a 3.6 percent increase in the January-March period. Konya's exports increased by 0.1 percent in March to $309.75 million and by 6.6 percent in the first quarter to $851.30 million. In March, Konya accounted for 1.56 percent of Turkey's total exports. I extend my thanks to everyone who contributed to the increase in exports. We will continue to collaborate with our companies to ensure that both our city and our country increase their exports to foreign markets."
