‘We continue to develop technologies in the field of solar energy’

The foundation of the SCADA Center of Konya Karapınar SPP (YEKA SPP-1), implemented by Kalyon Holding, was laid in the ceremony by the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Dönmez, the Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank and the Minister of Environment and Urbanization Murat Kurum. Fatih Dönmez, the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, stated that “The SCADA facility, the foundation of which was laid, is one of the most important steps taken for the localization of energy technologies. Mustafa Varank, the Minister of Industry and Technology, uttered that “We support the Konya Karapınar Power Plant and will continue to do so. The Kalyon YEKA SPP project is one of the most magnificent examples in the world. This power plant is one of the rare power plants that can be seen from space.” Murat Kurum, the Minister of Environment and Urbanization, said that “Kalyon Energy starts a very important investment on behalf of our country.” Cemal Kalyoncu, Chairman of Kalyon Holding,  stated that “Despite the conditions of the Covid-19 outbreak, they will complete an investment of 1.4 billion dollars in the energy sector by the end of 2022.”
