Karatay Strengthens Health Services Through Significant Investment

The Ahmet Yaşar Eşmekaya Family Health Center, brought to Erenler Neighborhood through the collaboration of Karatay Municipality, philanthropist businessman Ahmet Yaşar Eşmekaya, and the Konya Provincial Directorate of Health, was officially opened with a ceremony. Built with an investment of 32 million liras, the center will significantly improve access to healthcare services in the area.

Karatay Municipality continues to improve the quality of life across the district. In this context, the newly established modern family health center will contribute to residents’ quick and effective access to healthcare services.

The family health center, built with a current investment value of 32 million liras, will serve in an indoor area of approximately 450 square meters. The center consists of a total of 19 units and will be staffed by 6 family physicians, 6 family health workers, 3 auxiliary healthcare personnel, and 2 service staff.

The center has been designed to be more than just a healthcare facility, gaining added functionality through improvements carried out by Karatay Municipality in its surroundings. The area has been enhanced with an open parking lot, a street park, children’s play equipment, and landscaping featuring 50 different plant species, adding significant value to the neighborhood.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca stated that the investments brought to the district aim to directly improve residents’ quality of life, and he wished the new center every success.
